Natural Butterfly Pea Herbal Tea Leaf

A Vibrant Blue Herbal Tea with a Magical Color-Changing Twist.

This unique herb brews into a deep, vivid blue tea, traditionally grown for centuries in Thailand and across Southeast and South Asia. Beyond its culinary use, it has long served as a natural food coloring.

Add a little magic to your tea time—the color transforms depending on the liquid’s acidity:

  • In neutral liquids (such as water, saline, or sugar water), it turns a beautiful blue.

  • In acidic liquids (such as lemon juice, vinegar, or citric acid water), it changes to a stunning pink or red.

Perfect for creating surprise teas and unforgettable beverage experiences.

Please Note
Because this tea is made from natural ingredients, the vivid blue color may vary. The hue can also be affected by the hardness and pH of the water you use.

You can even enjoy different color variations by trying it with your local tap water or different bottled mineral waters:

  • Hardness below 50: the color leans toward purple.

  • Hardness above 300: the green tones become stronger.

How to Drink

Hot
Place the herbal tea into a pre-warmed cup or teapot, then pour freshly boiled water.
Cover and steep for 2–3 minutes.
Use 1–2 heaping teaspoons per serving, adjusting to taste.
As a general guide: flowers and leaves steep for 2–3 minutes, while seeds and roots (lightly crushed) steep for 3–5 minutes.

Ice
Use freshly boiled water, but only ½–⅓ of the usual amount to make a stronger brew.
Pour directly into a heat-resistant glass filled with ice.
*It is not for cold brew.
