Regions We Ship To
We currently ship to the United States, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea.
All orders are shipped from Japan via FedEx. We may use alternative carriers when necessary.

Processing Time
Orders are usually processed and dispatched within 2–3 business days after payment confirmation.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day.
During peak seasons or holiday periods, processing times may be longer than usual.

Shipping Methods & Estimated Transit Times
United States & Canada

  • Standard Shipping (¥4,000): Estimated 7–14 business days from dispatch
  • Free Shipping: Orders ¥4,000+ (7–14 business days)

Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan & South Korea

  • Standard Shipping (¥3,000): Estimated 5–10 business days from dispatch
  • Free Shipping: Orders ¥3,000+ (5–10 business days)

Note: Transit times are estimates counted from the dispatch date, not the order date. Actual delivery times may vary due to destination, customs clearance, weather, carrier operations, or other factors beyond our control. Delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.

Tracking
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a FedEx tracking number.
You can track your parcel at www.fedex.com or via the tracking link in your confirmation email.

Shipping Rates & Fees
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and order total.
The amount shown at checkout is final; we do not add hidden handling fees.

Duties, Taxes & Other Import Charges (Important)
Import duties, taxes (e.g., VAT/GST), and customs clearance fees may be levied by the destination country.
These charges are not included in product prices or shipping costs and will be the responsibility of the recipient.
If you refuse to pay duties/taxes, the parcel may be returned to us; in such cases, original shipping charges and any duties/fees billed to us will be deducted from any refund (if applicable).
Customs authorities or carriers may adjust HS code classification at their discretion.

Country‑Specific Notes (as of January 2026)
🇺🇸 United States

  • As of August 29, 2025, the $800 de minimis threshold is suspended; most imports are now subject to duties and taxes regardless of value.
  • After February 28, 2026, all low‑value shipments are assessed using ad valorem (value‑based) duties.

🇨🇦 Canada

  • GST/HST applies to all imports; rates vary by province.
  • Customs duties follow product classification under the 2026 Canadian Customs Tariff (T2026).

🇸🇬 Singapore

  • GST applies to all imported goods, including low‑value items (≤ S$400).
  • GST rate in 2026 is 9%.

🇭🇰 Hong Kong

  • Most goods are duty‑free; no VAT/GST.
  • Excise duties apply only to specific commodities (e.g., liquor, tobacco, hydrocarbon oils).

🇹🇼 Taiwan

  • Shipments valued under NT$2,000 are generally exempt from duty, 5% business tax, and commodity tax.
  • Shipments over NT$2,000 are subject to duty, 5% business tax, and applicable commodity taxes.

🇰🇷 South Korea

  • Duties and VAT may apply depending on product category and value.
  • Customs may request a Personal Customs Clearance Code (PCCC); FedEx may contact you if required.

Shipping Address Requirements
Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate, including a valid phone number.
We are not responsible for delays or non‑delivery due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

Address Changes
Once an order has been dispatched, we cannot change the delivery address.
If you need to update your address, email info@seikatsunoki.com before shipment.

Undeliverable & Returned Parcels
If a parcel is returned due to incorrect address, refused delivery, non‑payment of duties/taxes, or failure to collect within the carrier’s hold period, you are responsible for:

  • The original shipping cost (non‑refundable)
  • Any return shipping charges billed to us
  • Any duties, taxes, or fees charged to us
  • Re‑shipping charges if you request a re‑dispatch

Refunds (if applicable) will be issued less all related shipping and handling costs, in accordance with our Refund Policy.

Delivery Attempts & Hold Periods
Carriers typically attempt delivery multiple times.
If delivery cannot be completed, parcels may be held for a limited period (usually 5–7 days, depending on destination).
Please monitor tracking and respond promptly to any carrier notifications.

Delivery Delays
We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Customs inspections
  • Weather or natural events
  • Carrier delays or service interruptions
  • Local public holidays
  • Incomplete or inaccurate address information
  • Remote or hard‑to‑access locations

We do not compensate for delays or any consequential losses.

Lost or Damaged Parcels
For damaged parcels: Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number.
For lost parcels: Contact us within 14 days of the scheduled delivery date shown in tracking.
We may request photo evidence and/or return of damaged items for inspection.

Shipping Insurance
FedEx services include limited liability coverage.
For high‑value orders, we recommend purchasing additional insurance when available at checkout.
If additional insurance is not purchased, we are not responsible for losses beyond the carrier’s standard liability.

Prohibited & Restricted Items
Some products cannot be shipped internationally due to customs or carrier restrictions.
If we cannot ship an item to your destination, we will notify you and arrange an alternative or refund.
Check your local customs authority if unsure about import restrictions.

Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, civil unrest, labor disputes, government actions, pandemics, or carrier interruptions.

Carrier Selection
We primarily ship with FedEx but may use alternative carriers if required.
Tracking information will always be provided.

Order Cancellations
Before dispatch: Email info@seikatsunoki.com to request cancellation.
If your order is already in fulfillment, cancellation may not be possible.
After dispatch: Cancellations are not possible. You may return your order under our Refund Policy (return shipping at your expense).
